AREVA NP Inc., Structural Integrity Associates, EPRI, and Westinghouse are jointly hosting the second industry-wide,
bi-annual Nuclear Plant Fatigue Applications Workshop to provide a forum for discussion among utility plant staff and industry fatigue experts.
Objective
- Provide information on fatigue technical issues
- Provide a forum for communication with fatigue and industry experts
- Provide a forum to benchmark discussions concerning program administration and successful integration into the plant culture
General Information
- The co-sponsors will provide a short summary of the Workshop and the presentation files for final publication after the Workshop.
- General Format:
- Current fatigue activities, general items of interest, peer to peer utility technical and administrative experiences, etc.
- Presentations on specific fatigue topics (e.g., Licensing, Basis Fatigue Monitoring, ASME Code Activities, Environmental Fatigue, Flow-Induced Vibration, Integrated Fatigue Management, etc.)
- Open discussions regarding emerging opportunities for common efforts for utilities to address common issues.
Target Audience
This workshop is open to utility members and other nuclear industry personnel. The target audience is plant personnel responsible for day-to-day equipment, material, and environmental fatigue issues.
The Workshop will also benefit unit operators; system, design, and materials engineers; chemists; maintenance specialists; technical management; and supervisory personnel for nuclear power plant application of fatigue.
Technical support will be provided by invited vendors and utility personnel. |
